💖 Light-Up Valentine Cards: A Fun Mix of Science & Creativity
This year, why not add a little glow to your Valentine’s Day? Kids can design their very own glowing cards while learning about circuits and electricity. It’s a fun way to blend art and tech while creating a personalized card for a friend or family member!
What’s Included:
⚡ Copper tape to create an electrical path
💡 LEDs and coin cell batteries to light up the design
🎨 Tons of room to get creative and personalize
How it Works:
1️⃣ Design the Valentine’s card and sketch out the circuit.
2️⃣ Lay down the copper tape to complete the path.
3️⃣ Attach the LED light and battery (watch it glow!).
4️⃣ Decorate and make it uniquely theirs!
It’s hands-on learning at its best—kids get to see electricity in action while creating something special!
🚀 Love Potion Rocket Launch: An Explosive STEM Adventure!
Looking for an exciting way to celebrate? How about a fizzy, heart-powered rocket launch? 🧪🚀 Using a simple baking soda + vinegar reaction, kids can launch their own custom Valentine’s rockets while exploring chemical reactions and motion!
What’s Included:
🧪 Baking soda + vinegar = an epic fizzing reaction
🚀 A chance to design and decorate a rocket
💡 A hands-on way to explore science in action!
How it Works:
1️⃣ Decorate a small plastic container to make it rocket-ready.
2️⃣ Fill it 1/3 of the way with vinegar.
3️⃣ Wrap some baking soda in a tissue and drop it inside.
4️⃣ Snap the lid on, flip it upside down, and step back—liftoff in 3…2…1! 🚀
💡 Pro Tip: This one can get messy, so it’s best to launch outside or in an easy-to-clean area!

With over 20 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, and quality management, I have worked across industries such as pharmaceuticals, polymers, engineering design, and academia. I have also published several research papers, including one in the NASA-Harvard Astrophysics database, and have been a guest on multiple podcasts discussing engineering innovations. I hold a Master of Engineering degree, a P.Eng. designation, and an ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Through hands-on workshops and community programs, I aim to inspire the next generation by blending science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in fun and meaningful ways—encouraging children to think, create, and solve problems while having fun.
